Alice Ai App

FLONDON

I started with an idea for an app that could actually help people in modern dating, not just another swipe app. I wanted something that felt like having a smart friend in your pocket, someone who could look at your photos, help you write a better bio, suggest what to say when you are stuck in a chat, and give you real advice when dating gets confusing. That idea became Alice, an AI dating coach built for iPhone.

From there I designed the whole experience around the things people struggle with most. Photo analysis to see which pictures work best. A message generator for when you do not know what to reply. Bio and prompt writers to make your profile stand out. Pickup lines when you need a fun opener. And Ask Alice, a chat where you can talk through anything dating related and get personalized help. I also built in premium subscriptions so users who want more can unlock unlimited features, while keeping the core app accessible.

Then came the hard part, getting it live on the App Store. I set up everything in App Store Connect, submitted version 1.0, and waited through review. When the approval came through, I still had to fix a few things behind the scenes. The app was marked as removed from sale, so I went into Pricing and Availability and set up availability for the countries where I wanted it live. I also realized the app was listed as paid at £9.99, but I wanted people to download it for free and pay only if they choose premium inside the app. So I changed the price to Free across all regions using a global price change in App Store Connect.
